Enjoyed your game, great immersion and a good story to go with it.

(+1)

Happy to hear!

Very interesting horror game.

(+1)

Thanks a lot!

This is a simple but amazing game. The story is sad but I can see why the town was so empty. The sound track reminds me of Red Dead Redemption. I struggled on the last part but it was 2 am so that's my excuse on why I failed a couple of times. I enjoyed this game. It's a simple milk delivery game with a very unexpected twist at the end. I can't wait to see what you make in the future. Keep up the good work.
(+1)

Thanks for the review and I wish you all the best with your channel!

This was an awesome game my dude! Very fun and immersive, it was entertaining driving around and have to fix the engine while delivering the good! I was trying to figure out what was going to happen, I was thinking vampires or zombies, that ending was so unexpected and cool! Very great job subverting expectations! Here is my gameplay video, sub and help my channel grow everybody! :)
(+1)

Thanks for the video! Liked & subscribed!

(+2)

I really enjoyed it! I love the game’s immersion and mechanics, and I’ve always had a soft spot for worlds that feel kind of semi-open.

(+1)

Glad you enjoyed it!

(+2)

I really enjoyed this game.  Almost like a small scale milk man simulator.
(+1)

That was my goal! Thanks a lot for playing!

(+2)

fun game highly recommend
(+1)

Thanks for delivering!

(+2)

A milk delivery western horror game is a very specific genre but it works very well, from the well done story in such a short game to the delivery game play itself. a very good game

(+1)

A very good video, thanks a lot for playing and sharing!

Im Furious! I dont get this game... The lore feels written with chatgpt and the gameplay is the classic grab and put x100 times... I'm here to see people succeed, i'm not here to hate!!! The graphics looks cool tho, even if it's a little bit bad optimized.
Please, keep up working on making games and make something that will make our jaws drop! I believe in you!

Thanks for the feedback, but no need to get furious. I feel like I accomplished what I set out to do with the project. The lore is entirely my own - I enjoy writing, which is what drew me to making games (and movies) in the first place.

When you say it's poorly optimized, did you experience any specific issues like lag or stuttering? I used a number of optimization techniques in Unity to keep performance smooth, so I’d appreciate any details.

(+2)

Short but what a solid experience this was! Definitely loved the delivery aspect. Made a video on it.

(+2)

Thanks for the video! Good luck with your channel!

Milk-Delivery Western Horror Game… what else could you ask for? Nice short game…  but wish it was a little longer, interesting back story, so much potential there. Great work :). Maybe a sequel? :P

(+1)

Thanks for playing! Thunderhead is a complete experience — no sequel is planned.

sad times, :,(. Anyway, loved the game! looking forward to more :)

My Gameplay

Thanks!

Nice little game! I find it a little bit too short and straightforward, and the lack of any settings (at the moment of my playthrough), especially of the game's volume, was not very convenient, but the atmosphere was cool. Thank you!

(+2)

Thanks for playing! Short and straightforward is what I was aiming for. Thanks for the feedback, more setting will be implemented in the upcoming games.

neat. I wasn't so much scared as I was interested, but then it just... ended. Freaky religious people? Pagans? The great vacuum? I left it all behind. It's funny. I guess it subverted my expectations.

I think the audio could be looked at. Some things are way loud and distracting. The car's rev noise in particular. But also the wrench clang. Hurts my ears. Also, the throw and jump are a little pathetic. I wonder why you added them if they do little to potentially speed up the repetitive gaameplay for those of us who can land the milk trickshots. Make throw slightly better. That's all.

(+1)

Jumping is mostly there so you can climb into the back of the van if you feel like exploring. As for the throw — it's a little complicated. Milkman Joe was around 70 when the story took place, and by then, arthritis was starting to creep in. But his legs? They never gave up on him. That’s why he can still run without tiring. Appreciate the feedback, and thanks a lot for playing!

(+2)

Everything from the visuals to the sounds were on point. Strange story. It started as one thing, but end up going a completely different route, but I still enjoyed playing.

Glad you enjoyed!

(+2)

Loved the vibes in this game. The visuals were also just super accurate lol. All the crosses made me feel like I was back in the Deep South lol.

(+1)

Thank you!

(+3)

Wow what a pretty game! Loved every bit of it, the music is also very beautiful! I truly hope there is more to come to this game because I was really excited for a new chapter after that ending.. Wishing you all the best! ❤️

(1 edit) (+1)

While I won’t be returning to Thunderhead, I’m excited to take you to new places and explore different themes. Horror is such a versatile genre, there’s so much left to discover. Thanks for playing, and I wish you all the best!

(+1)

I understand. Well I truly enjoyed this short masterpiece for sure, it was a nice experience. I can't wait to play more of your games in the near future, keep it up! ❤️

(+2)

Thanks for the kind words regarding the music :)

Thank you for providing the game with such beautiful soundtracks! 🙏 Even at the end of the game I didn't want to exit out as the song was still playing 🥰

(+2)

It's a pleasure to be included in great indie projects like this. Thanks :D

(+2)

this game was fantastic, continue this style plz

The style will surely continue, thanks a lot!

(+3)

Fantastic game. Loved the music and how popups (tutorial, chapters) was done. Im also glad you let us drive BOTH vehicles, very cool.

I’m so glad you liked the UI — it’s always the part I’m most nervous about! Thanks for playing :)

(+1)

Glad you loved the music. Yeah I also loved the UI. The massive bold headings gave me old Spaghetti Western vibes. So good!

(+2)

gutes spiel

Danke.

(+2)

I loved the retro feel, and the music was fantastic
(+1)

Voltz Supreme absolutely knocked it out of the park with his Western tracks — couldn’t have asked for a better music! Thanks for playing!

(+2)

Glad you liked the music. It's always a pleasure to be able to play a small part in interesting indie games :)

I think the game does not work with 1360x768 screens.

How does the problem look? Can you send a screenshot?

it looks like this, at least to me

That looks correct to me.

You can't see much in the picture but in my game you can see a small part of a text, I don't know if the problem is with the screen or with me.

Oh I think I see it, I'll try to figure it out tomorrow.

An Indie Western Horror Game Perfection

(+2)

VERY INTERESTING, MUST PLAY

(+1)

THANKS!

(+2)

Good game, keep going

(+1)

Thank you!! More to come soon!

(+2)

VISUALLY STUNNING, MOVIE INSPIRED, SHORT HORROR GAME. 10/10 visuals. Reminds me of The Hateful Eight.

(+1)

Thanks so much! I love The Hateful Eight.

0/10 Las Vallas no me dejaban estrellar la camioneta contra la iglesia

(+2)

Those fences are damn strong. Sheriff Phelp’s cousin doesn’t mess around - he tracked down the finest wood you can find on the prairie. Ain’t no storm or stupid van gonna take it down easy.

(+2)

Nice, sweet, and simple. I wish the twist was also in the buildings while I was deliverin.

(+2)

I'm sure the people of Thunderhead would be proud of the job you did, if they were still alive. Thanks for delivering!

(+2)

Very interesting twist lol I had fun, I wish it was longer so I could keep playing

(+1)

Thanks for delivering!

(+2)

What a delight that was, and I loved the twist ending. I started with Mushrooming and now this! Keep the delightful strangeness going.

(+1)

What a delight your comment is. It means a lot, thanks for playing Mushrooming as well! New game is coming soon!

(+2)

If you are more into no commentary:

(+1)

Nice gameplay, thanks for sharing!

(+3)

The game's atmosphere is just amazing, I myself love the Western genre and I think this game embodied that genre and expanded nicely on it with the twist in the end. Honestly, I couldn't have ever seen that coming. Great game overall, gameplay a bit slow - like other indie games on Itch -, music was just amazing so congrats to the guy who did that. Overall a great experience!

(+1)

Thanks for playing and for the review!

Great to hear that people appreciated the music :)

(+2)

I wanted to play it but the mouse sensitivity was too much, I barely move my mouse and the viewpoint moves all over the place! I even lowered my mouse movement on my Computer's system settings to as slow as it could go, and it still moved all over the place. I quit the game middway because the mouse sensitivity was just too much to handle.

(1 edit) (+1)

You can now adjust mouse sensitivity in game! Enjoy and let me know how it went!

(+1)

That was quick. And also a perfect solution. I can play the game wonderfully now.

I enjoyed it a lot, I liked the retro feel, and that little twist ending,

(+2)

Really neat short game! Did a quick Speedrun for it.

(+1)

Thanks!

(+2)

I really enjoyed the game! The only problem I prolly had was just the mouse sensitivity but overall, a great game!

I'm so glad you enjoyed the game! Mouse sensitivity is now fixed :) Thanks for feedback!
